
Foundry USA has asked its mining customers to signal their support for BIP-110, an actively debated proposal aimed at reducing the amount of data that can be stored in a Bitcoin transaction.
Foundry USA has begun asking mining customers to vote on how the pool should report Bitcoin Improvement Proposal (BIP-110), a soft fork proposing to reduce the amount of data that can be stored in Bitcoin transactions in order to limit non-monetary transactions, such as ordinals, on the Bitcoin network.
The largest mining pool in the world by hashrate as well released educational resources on the proposal and said the voting window would close at Bitcoin block 961,632, which is early August.
Foundry mining customers can vote by accessing a link received via email.
